Virtual Field Trips for the High School Media Center
You are responsible for viewing and reflecting upon each field trip. A reflective summary will be submitted for each field trip collection ( Elementary school field trips, Middle, and High school). Your reflective summaries will be posted to a designated Drop Box.
The virtual field trips are a combination of archived Wimba sessions, video files, and websites for exemplary media programs. Inside the Virtual Field Trip Folder you will find the links / access points for each of the field trips. Sometimes Firefox or Chrome works better but then sometimes Internet Explorer or Chrome will be a better choice. Sometimes connection speed may be an issue. If you have difficulty opening or viewing the field trips, please contact me.
Things to consider when viewing and writing about the field trips: What AASL standards are demonstrated? What did you learn from the media specialist? What tips or techniques could you implement in your school library? How does the librarian impact student learning? How does the librarian promote or implement collaboration?
